As a parking lot volunteer you will work with clients to help maintain a safe and organized atmosphere. Parking lot volunteers will help volunteers get to the parking location they need to be in, in addition to having conversations with clients to provide support and resources in anyway within the available resources of Least of These. Parking lot will need to collect the following months food sheets from clients, in addition to any other paperwork requested by data entry or client services coordinator.

| Inclement Weather Plan: Parking lot volunteer should be prepared to wear weather appropriate attire. For example if raining, parking lot volunteers should dress in rain coat/poncho, wet weather shoes, hat. Parking lot volunteers are always required to wear a high vis color when working outside. If volunteer does not come to distribution wearing a high vis color LOT will provide a high vis. piece of clothing for them to borrow such as a vest, sweatshirt, rain coats, etc. If lightning is in close proximity to LOT at the time of distribution volunteer should plan on a 30 minute delay in distribution. In the case of snow or icy weather, distribution may be postponed or cancelled volunteers should refer to volunteer communication outlets to determine if this decision has been made by LOT staff. | |
