Truck receiving volunteers come and help receive items from truck deliveries from major food distributors such as Ozarks Food Harvest, Convoy of Hope, and Wholesale Grocers. Volunteers should expect to have to move heavy pallets to areas designated by operations manager or as listed on tag placed on pallets as they come off of truck. Truck receiving volunteers should be knowledgeable in how operate warehouse equipment such as (forklifts, walkie stackers, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks). Volunteers should be knowledgeable of the warehouse and different locations. In addition should be able to lift of move heavy items to make room for all product received during truck.
