July 1, 2024 we will begin using an info gathering process with our clients during distribution. This will help keep client info files up-to-date and it will allow us to track some of the "life success" measures of those we serve. 

A volunteer who works at the interview data desk in the lobby. This volunteer collects the data that interviewers collect in order to flow into the data room. 

As a volunteer stocker you will be required to keep the shelving stocked during distribution as shoppers are pulling from distribution shelves to fill client orders. Stockers must be trained in the inventory management system, and be knowledgeable in what pallets and locations in the warehouse are designated for stocking by Operations Coordinator Michelle Lindsey. As a stocker you must be able to lift items 25lbs or more onto distribution shelving, as well as climb step ladders, and possibly be willing to learn how to operate equipment (i.e. pallet jacks, forklifts, walkie stacker). 

Drive-up check-in volunteer (outside shed) will greet the client, ask client's name and communicate information with "Thrive Check-in volunteer inside of shed. In addition this volunteer will ask for any information that may have changed on a client application or for documentation such as (proof of residency, ID). This volunteer will give the client their parking space number, newsletter/ next months food sheet to complete, as well as return their appointment card with their scheduled appointment date for the next month.

Drive-up check-in volunteer (inside shed) will call in on radio to communicate which client is checking-in, provide inside check desk with client information, status, and parking space number.  In addition the inside shed volunteer will use thrive software to schedule the clients following month appointment.

Stock, watch over, and and help advocate for clients to take from self-select area. Assist in all things

Join us to pack groceries to be distributed during our mobile pantries. 

Volunteer will pick up food before 7am or after 9am from Starbuck located at 1951 West Marler Lane Ozark, MO 65721

As a donation receiving volunteer you will be responsible for greeting community members, take their donations, weigh on scale, make sure donation is proper logged on donation log under the correct category (give donation receipt if requested). After receiving donation volunteer will date check donated items and either stock in appropriate designated location in warehouse or if expired discard appropriately and log the discarded items. During this time donation receiving volunteers may also be asked to help with stocking, sorting food donations, cleaning, cutting "Best Choice," labels from canned goods. 

Front desk volunteers on Tuesday's and Thursday's will be expected to take clients calls. Update applications, assist clients over the phone with filling out food sheets, document and cancellation or appointment requests from clients.  Complete any tasks given by Client Service Coordinator Michele Pierce. Report directly to Michele Pierce in regards to client services issues. 

In place for the Stone County Disability and Development Board

Volunteers will arrive at Chadwick Community center 122 Oriole Dr, Chadwick, MO 65629 at 8:30am. Volunteers can meet at LOT at 8am or meet in Chadwick by 8:30am. Volunteers will serve clients through a drive thru distribution once they have been checked in by Client Services Coordinator, volunteers will load vehicles with grocery orders packed at LOT.

Christian County Transition & Community Resource Fair!

This event is created to empower individuals with developmental delays and and support families every step of the way! 

Help distribute menu products to families in Clever at 111 N Public Ave, Clever, MO 65631. Meet at 5:30 PM to help setup and start distributing soon after.

Assist in loading and unloading food show products onto trucks to bring back to LOT.

Volunteers will help count pallets and distribution shelves of product as directed by the operations manager for inventory tracking.

This is the monthly restocking of shelves before distribution each month.

After stocking and packing for Chadwick & Clever, volunteers will help unwrap product and set up stations for the Christmas Packing Event on December 1st.

Volunteers will help greet, direct, and help community members as they travel through the warehouse to each station packing Christmas meal bags.
